Is it legal to go to Cuba? Will I need a Visa?

Yes, it is legal to go to Cuba as long as you are under the 12 sanctioned activities that allow travel to Cuba, with religious activity being one of them. We would be delighted to assist you with the process of legally visiting Cuba as an American. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey, it’s important to obtain a Cuban visa in advance. This is often referred to as a “general license,” which is a requirement set by the Cuban government for travel. Once you confirm your attendance, we are here to guide and support you every step of the way in securing this visa, making your trip not only memorable but also compliant with all regulations.

What is the cost associated with the trip?

We are pleased to inform you that we will take care of all your transportation needs during your stay, including transfers to and from the airport and around the city. Additionally, your accommodation and meals will be fully covered by us. The only aspect you’ll need to arrange is your flights to and from Cuba. We are here to ensure that your experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and we can’t wait to welcome you!

Are there additional costs?

We are excited to share that you will have some free time to relax and enjoy yourself on Saturday. Should you be interested in indulging in a round of golf or a rejuvenating spa experience, we would be more than happy to arrange these activities for you. Please note that the cost for these leisure activities will be your responsibility. If you would like to take advantage of these opportunities, kindly let us know your preferences. You can easily reach out to us by emailing and we will ensure everything is booked and arranged for your enjoyment. We’re here to make your experience as pleasant and fulfilling as possible!

Will I have to book my own flights?

Yes, we kindly remind you that the cost of flights for your journey will be your responsibility. We encourage you to arrive by 3:30pm, as check-in begins at 4pm. This will ensure you have ample time to settle in and not miss any of the exciting events planned for the first evening. If you would prefer us to assist with booking your flights, we are more than happy to do so. Please feel free to reach out to, and we will take care of all the necessary arrangements.

Where will we be staying?

The Hotel Packard Havana, remodeled in 2022, is a contemporary and elegant hotel located in Havana, offering stunning views of the Lighthouse and minutes from the Capitol Building. Managed by the prestigious Iberostar Chain, it features a vibrant Cuban decor, modern amenities, and a luxurious lobby adorned with marble floors and chandeliers. Among its notable facilities is a spectacular infinity pool, providing guests with an exquisite view of Havana’s waterfront.

How do I get a tourist visa?

There are two ways to acquire a tourist visa. The first is we request the visa to be mailed to you at your residence. The second way is to purchase directly at the flight counter prior to boarding your flight to Havana. We will contact you to find out which way you prefer to go. Additionally, we will provide you with a religious letter from World Link, which will facilitate your re-entry into the States. Rest assured, we are committed to making your travel experience as seamless and worry-free as possible.

When should I plan to arrive?

Please arrive at the airport no later than 3:30pm on Thursday, April 25.

When do we depart?

Breakfast will be served at the hotel on Sunday morning, and you are welcome to check out at your leisure, with the hotel checkout time set at 11 am. If you wish to extend your stay beyond the event dates, kindly inform Britni, and we will be more than happy to arrange for an extended room reservation. Please be aware that any additional expenses incurred after the event departure will be your responsibility. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What should I pack?

As the event approaches, we will thoughtfully prepare and send you an email containing a detailed packing list. This is to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We’re looking forward to making sure your preparation for the event is as smooth and stress-free as possible!
